10 Today Travel vocabulary for planes

Preparing a flight means being very careful with the timing (organize and co-ordinate different parts) and schedule (programación)  . First the check-in time (la hora de facturar)  has to be 2 hours ahead of departure time (hora de salída), otherwise ( if not) you may join a long queue and find yourself getting to the check-in desk (mostrador de facturacion) too late and the flight attendant says “ Sorry, you cannot board or embark  ( subir el avion).”  You have to be prepared to walk along the runway (pista de aterizaje) in order to board some cheap flights and to stand around in the aisle ( pasillo ) as passengers put their luggage into the overhead locker (compartimento / armario para equipaje de mano) Now go this page and enjoy refreshing your memory with a quiz about Means of Travel
