Preparación examenes Cambridge: 10 Today 10 Phrasal Verbs with LOOK

David was driving when his girlfriend shouted " Look out" ( pay attention), there is a dog crossing the road. David had not seen it as he had looked away (apartar la mirada)) from the road, distracted by a red flashing light.
They continued talking and she looked back on the days (think about the past and remember) when they didn´t need to drive to work. They were looking for (searching) a new outlet for furniture and decided to look the address up on google maps ( consult a source for an answer).  They looked on an outlet ( to consider sth as) as being the cheapest way to find a spare bed for a visitor.
They were now in the shop and they looked down  on (despreciar, have a poor opinion of) the dirty old stock they had. They had looked forward to finding a bargain (esperar con ansia, con ganas) but in the end they opted to look into (study, investigate) other ways of finding what they really wanted to decorate their new room. They then decided to go to Ikea as it was not far away and once there, they looked over what they had to offer (have a look, check to see if it is ok ). They did not find what they really wanted so they went home empty handed ( without anything).
