somebody : How are things with you?
Que tal te van las cosas? How´s things?
What´s cooking? ( Que hay de nuevo), What´s doing? (
=popular in the USA)
On leaving
you can also say :
Bye for
now.
Be
seeing you.
So long
! (=hasta la
próxima, USA and Australia). And then you can add;
Say
hello to your parents for me. (Saluda a ..)
Give
Susan my best wishes ( Saluda a… de mi parte) ,
Remember me to Gordon, will you? (Dale
mis saludos a ..)
And how do
you respond? Certainly, I´ll do that. Or Sure!
or Will do !
