10 Today How to offer to help

So, it is party time and we are arranging carnival events. So offering to help is something to remember. We can say things like;

Very formal     We are entirely at your disposal   Estamos a su entera disposicion.

Neutral     I´ll be glad to help you! Note the different use of WILL

Informal   Anything I can do?  Note:  no interrogative format.

Then other things we could say:

 Can I be of any use?        Si puedo serle util….

Could I give you a hand?    ¿Te puedo echar una mano ?

Do you need a hand?  ¿Te ayudo?

Can you manage or shall I help out? ¿Puedes arreglartelas ó te ayudo?

And for higher levels

Do you want me to lend you a hand?    ¿Quieres que te eche una mano?

Many hands make light work!  I´ll help      El trabajo compartido es mas llevadero.

Can I chip in?   ¿Puedo colaborar? ( helping with money or “ hands” )
