10 Today= 10 words for describing housing and urban landscapes

Remember, to find out how to say them, the most important, go to this on-line speaking dictionary  and listen and practice, even record yourself on your mobile phone and then later listen and remind yourself.  http://www.dictionarist.com  Think why I have put one part of words with more than 2 syllables in red. Yes, it   indicates where the stress goes!

David  drew back the curtains and looked onto the cityscape. London is full of contrasts he thought. From the high-rise flats of the Barbican center to the trendy pricy  detached houses  (individual houses) of Primrose Hill. His parents  lived on a smart housing   estate ( urbanización) with over 200 other families on the outskirts of town while  he owned a terraced  house ( adosado) . Everywhere you could see what never used to be there: recycling bins ( containers for rubbish) , bicycle lanes,  and parking meters

P.S. I  then searched google for this topic and  found the link below. Although it is not a British accent, it is American in fact, it is such a useful link because all you need to do is signal a picture and automatically the pronunciation is heard and so you can listen and repeat it . http://www.languageguide.org/english/vocabulary/landscapes/   Then I went to the home web page and found this section where they have more vocabulary organized into different  topics with the same possibility. Yes, it is B2 level most of the time but sometimes even those starting C1 level will benefit from it. Go here for the categories to click on Have fun. Tell me what you think of it. http://www.languageguide.org/english/
